FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

Photos with Truman the Tiger

2:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m., MU Student Center
Truman has agreed to make a special appearance at Family Weekend. Stop by the registration area Friday afternoon for a chance to have your photo taken with Truman. There is no cost and the photo will be emailed to you. This opportunity is sponsored by MU Counseling Center in conjunction with the Office of Parent Relations.

*Comedy Show: Justin Willman

7 p.m. Jesse Auditorium
Justin Willman is a magician, comedian and TV personality who hosts the hit shows Cupcake Wars on the Food Network and Win, Lose or Draw on the Disney Channel. The Los Angeles Times calls him, “a new breed of magician who’s making magic cool again for grown-ups.” Cost is $8 for MU Students and $10 for the general public. Family Weekend: Mizzou on the Mall

8 p.m.– 11 p.m., Lowry Mall (Rain Site: MU Student Center)
Show off Mizzou to your family by coming to Lowry Mall, where we will have lots of Mizzou treats and activities including Buck’s Tiger Stripe Ice Cream, a photo booth and more! Sponsored by the Parents Leadership Council, the MSA/GPC Department of Student Activities, and Campus Activities/Mizzou After Dark from the Department of Student Life.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

Chancellor’s Open House

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Chancellor’s Residence, Francis Quadrangle
Interim Chancellor Hank Foley and his wife Karin invite students and their families to an open house at The Residence on Francis Quadrangle, the oldest building on the oldest public university west of the Mississippi River. Admission is free. Sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs.

*Family Trivia Night

6:30 p.m., Stotler Lounge, Memorial Student Union
Students, families, and guests are invited to join Student Affairs for a night of general knowledge trivia and family fun! Snacks provided. Proceeds to benefit the Parents Fund. Seating is limited; open to families who pre-registered.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

*Family Breakfast with the Vice Chancellor

9 a.m., Stotler Lounge, Memorial Student Union
Vice Chancellor Cathy Scroggs extends a special invitation to parents and students for Sunday breakfast. Wrap up your Mizzou weekend with great food and conversation while you learn more about the Mizzou student experience. Seating is limited; open to families who pre-registered.
